Natorp's is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the gardening industry, we are delighted to announce we are bringing a new concept to the world of gardening. In September 2012, Natorp's best kept secret will be revealed as the public is welcomed to Natorp's Nursery Outlet located on the one hundred and fifty acre Natorp's Nursery in Mason, Ohio. Natorp's is bringing the gardener to the grower and creating a one-of-kind gardening experience.

In 1916, the founder William A. Natorp, a German immigrant and horticulture student placed an advertisement in a Cincinnati flower shop window for landscape services and began, Natorp's what would become the most recognized name in local gardening. In what was just a short time he realized he could not get the quality of plants he needed for his landscape clients and made the decision to grow his own creating Natorp's Nursery.

Today, Natorp's is the largest grower in the region growing over one million plants annually including annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs on their Mason nursery. The company grows 740 cultivars of annuals, 800 varieties of perennials and shrubs, and 10,000 trees with over 200 varieties. The company has remained true to its founding principles of a rigorous selection of plants. We have taken the experience of growing for nearly one hundred years combined it with innovation to progress the company into the future.

The new concept creates a destination where visitors can choose from one million plants on the land where the plants are grown. Visitors can shop the plant collection in a 3 acre enclosed greenhouse in all weather conditions. The experience includes bringing Natorp's growers from behind the scenes and welcomes visitors into this new world of gardening. The visitors will visually experience a working nursery where over one hundred and fifty employees go to incredible lengths to plant, maintain and grow this extensive collection of plants. They will see the lakes that pump 81 million gallons of water annually supplying the irrigation for their plants. Within the nursery, there is a landscape design center, bulk landscape supply center, and our wholesale offices.
